Nothing made up
Every line points back to a repo, a role or a sentence you wrote. If it isn't in your sources, it isn't on the page.
Always one page
When something new goes on, the weakest line comes off. No 6pt fonts, no second page.

A real first draft, not a demo
The resume above is a made-up senior engineer. This is a student with three small repos and no jobs, run through the actual pipeline on October 24, 2026, shown exactly as it came out.
Step 1
What it had to work with
- study-buddyFlashcard app with spaced repetition
- rust-rayA small ray tracer
- todo-app
Left off: todo-app. Tutorial project with only 2 commits.
19 facts found, each matched word for word in the repos.
Step 2
First draft, 16 seconds
study-buddy
- Built a flashcard app with SM-2 spaced repetition, enabling scheduled reviews for effective learning.
- Implemented the frontend and backend using TypeScript, Next.js, Supabase, and styled with Tailwind CSS.
- Maintained the project as a solo contributor with 84 commits and deployed it live at study-buddy.vercel.app.
rust-ray
- Developed a small ray tracer in Rust based on the Ray Tracing in One Weekend book to gain expertise in graphics programming.
- Solely managed the rust-ray repository with 23 commits, demonstrating focused development and ownership.
Step 3
One question later
What did you build in study-buddy?
“SM-2 review scheduling and the CSV import. About 40 classmates used it before the CS 314 final.”
Example answer, typed by hand.
study-buddy rewritten
- Built SM-2 spaced repetition review scheduling and CSV import features with TypeScript and Next.js used by ~40 classmates for CS 314 exam preparation
- Developed a flashcard app with Supabase backend supporting Google sign-in and deck creation, styling UI using Tailwind CSS
- Sole contributor maintaining codebase through 84 commits and deployed live version at study-buddy.vercel.app
What it still gets wrong
- Lines like “Maintained the project as a solo contributor with 84 commits and de…” only restate activity. Delete them, or answer a question about what you built.
- It can't know who used your project or what changed until you say so. Before the answer, no line had a result.
- Written by gpt-4.1-mini. A different model, or richer READMEs, give different wording.
